Don Medical Clinic is a small 3-5 doctor practice in North West Tasmania. Devonport is a coastal seaside town with low cost real estate , good local schools and sports groups. The practice was established in 2014. This area of Tasmania offers GPs and their families a great range of food and wine and other gourmet delights as well as a diverse array of adventurous pursuits. Our recent GPs have moved to return to the mainland for family reasons and so we are looking for GPs who would like to relocate and who like the smaller practice concept and working in a small team. The practice has a diverse patient base, of all ages, but with a preponderance of younger group.
It is a youth friendly and LGBTI friendly practice that is well linked to local and statewide services. There is an option to become a partner in the future. The job will involve part time or full-time work, there is opportunity to specialise in varying fields within general practices we want the practice to offer a diverse range of specialised skills within General Practice. We have a great team of reception and nursing staff .
We also access specialist services via telehealth. The practice offers acute care and focuses on early intervention and prevention and has a well developed chronic disease program.
Relocation may be available by negotiation.
