The role within the practice

The role is fully flexible offering all manner of options to suit your preferences. Maybe full or part time, full days or half days, weekends or weekdays only, flex up or down in the school holidays, fly in/fly out, almost everything can be accommodated for the right person. This opportunity would also suit a couple or work colleagues who offer varying specialties.

Working in partnership with other therapists in the practice, they are able to offer healthcare programs to patients that incorporate a variety of treatments including psychology, remedial massage, acupuncture and chiropractic. You’ll also be able to tailor your work to focus on your specialist areas of interest.

Offering this wider range of practice services, you will be supported by a dedicated administration and nursing team and with a long history of providing training to students, and registrars, opportunity exists to work in this capacity also. With a strong culture of training underpinning all that they do, you’ll be in no doubt about the level of professional support on offer here.

Importantly the practice is only a 5 minute drive from Coffs Harbour Health Campus (Hospital) which is currently undergoing a $194m upgrade and is the biggest trauma centre between the Gold Coast and Newcastle. Additionally, there is pathology on the practice premises and a pharmacy meters away

About you:
As an accredited VR GP, your role will involve providing the highest standard of care to your patients encompassing –
● an ethical and collegiate approach to patient wellbeing
● skilled communication in the process of consultation in order to seek an understanding of patients and their families
● expertise in recognising and making appropriate decisions about all problems presented by your patients
● the ability to care for yourself and to balance the demands of a busy professional life with the need for personal time
