Overview
Practise good medicine, with people who care about doing the same.
You want to work somewhere you respect the medicine being practised around you. Somewhere you can take the time you need with a patient, follow things through properly, practise comprehensive general practice and know the doctors around you hold themselves to a similar standard.
That’s what we’re building at Skye Medical.
We are looking for a GP who is thoughtful, clinically conscientious and values doing general practice well.
You might be relatively early in your Fellowship, or you might have decades of experience. What matters more to us is how you want to practise.
The kind of GP who tends to fit well here
You probably:
- Prefer thoughtful clinical decision-making over rushing through a waiting room.
- Care about continuity, appropriate investigation and follow-up.
- Enjoy the breadth of general practice and want the systems around you to support it.
- Value your clinical independence but also appreciate having experienced GPs around you to bounce a case off when needed.
- Want to earn well without having to practise high-volume medicine.
- Like friendly, supportive colleagues without needing your workplace to organise your social life.
- Want genuine flexibility around your working days, sessions, start times and holidays.
You don’t need to practise exactly like the GP in the room next door.
But you should be able to trust that the people around you care about the quality of medicine they provide.
