Position Overview
We’re seeking experienced medical advisors and menopause/ women’s health experts to join our multidisciplinary medical advisory team. We are looking for individuals who are not only passionate about women’s health but are also eager to help us redefine modern menopause care.

As a key member of our advisory team, you will provide critical medical and scientific support for our products, engage with healthcare professionals, and play an integral role in the successful execution of our medical strategies. This role demands deep clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions.

Role Commitment: Up to 10 hours per month, with flexibility to expand as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on the formulation of new products, ensuring they meet medical standards and address the needs of menopausal women.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to incorporate the latest medical research and innovations.
  • Develop and deliver medical education and information to healthcare professionals, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to gather insights and foster relationships.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and review promotional materials, ensuring they meet medical and regulatory standards.
  • Advise on effective distribution strategies for our products, particularly focusing on partnerships with healthcare providers and doctors.
  • Support clinical research activities, including study design, data analysis, and publication of results.
  • Review and provide medical insights on blog articles, whitepapers, and other educational content to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Represent Biolae at medical conferences, meetings, and other scientific events.
  • Provide expert quotes and insights for press releases and media enquiries.
  • Advise on field research, including consumer studies, on existing users.
  • Advise on clinical trials if needed.

About You

  • Citizenship/Residency: Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Temporary Resident.
  • Qualifications: AHPRA registration and full General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (required).
  • Speciality: MD or DO with specialisation in gynaecology, endocrinology, or a related field is a plus. Extensive knowledge and experience in women’s health and menopause are essential.Insurance: Valid medical indemnity insurance.
  • Communication Skills: You excel at clear and concise communication with patients, health professionals, and team members. You also possess the ability to translate complex medical concepts into consumer-friendly language.
  • Independent: Ability to work independently and provide guidance in a remote setting.
