Border Urgent Care Centre is a Medicare funded Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) in Albury – one of 58 clinics Australia-wide!

We are looking for VR GP’s to join us at Border Urgent Care Centre, with flexible work options, before and after hours work available, 7 days per week, treating urgent but not life-threatening conditions.

Supporting the local hospital and emergency department, Border Urgent Care Centre offers the community a choice to access urgently needed but not life-threatening medical care. Medicare UCC’s provide care for illnesses and injuries such as:

  • minor lacerations/cuts requiring suturing
  • basic fracture management
  • minor burns
  • urinary tract infections
  • insect and animal bites
  • minor respiratory conditions
  • minor infections
  • allergies and rashes
  • gastroenteritis
  • minor eye and ear problems
  • sprains

Essential Criteria

  • FRACGP or FACRRM
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Advanced Life Support
  • Advanced Skills training in emergency medicine
  • GP professional indemnity insurance
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
  • Excellent clinical skills
  • Ability to work well in a professional, friendly workplace team with a passion for high quality and patient centred care.
